Our GPs are all very highly experienced and enjoy the variety that general practice offers. All undertake minor procedures in our purpose-built procedure room

Dr Pip Reeve
MBChB, DCH, FRNZCGP, Certificate in Travel Medicine. Director

Is a vocationally trained and highly experienced GP. Has a special interest in travel medicine.


Dr Peter Thomas
MBChB, Dip Obs, MRNZCGP. Director

Is a NZ trained GP, working since 1991. After travelling and working around the world, he returned to work as sole GP in Hanmer Springs. He and his wife started adding to family, then opportunity arose to move to Richmond. Is interested in all areas of General Practice.
Dr Katy Roff

Is also a vocationally trained and highly experienced GP. UK trained and has lived in NZ since 2004.

Dr Suzanne Washington

Born and trained in UK, came to NZ in 1997. Previous experience in hospital medicine and emergency department. Special interest in family planning and sexual health medicine, emergency medicine, dermoscopy and minor surgery. Instructor for NZ Red Cross.

Dr Anna Moore 

Worked in general practice from 2007. Moved to NZ in 2010Anna is enrolling new patients.

Dr Steve McGlone 

Grew up and trained as a doctor in Perth, Western Australia. Moved to NZ to live in 1987 and has been working in Family Practice since 1990. Had his own semi rural practice in Oamaru for 10 years before moving to Nelson to live in 2000. Has a particular interest in musculoskeletal, sports and rehabilitation medicine and General Practice teaching. A passionate outdoorsman and musician in his spare time.

Dr Michelle Cliffe 
MBChB, Dip Phty, PG Dip Man Phty, FRNZCGP 

Prior to completing her Medical Training at Otago University, Michelle was a physiotherapist. She enjoys the variety that General Practice offers and has a particular interest in women’s and child health. Outside of work, Michelle loves to enjoy Nelson’s great outdoors with her family and friends.

Dr Geoffrey Manins 

Grew up in Nelson and trained in Otago. Newly trained GP and enjoys all areas of general practice. Keen mountain biker.

Dr Nicola Munro


Is a NZ trained GP. Completed GP training in 1998 then took a few years off to raise her family. Lived and worked in the UK for several years. Moved to Nelson 2013. Enjoys all aspects of general practice.



Practice Nurses

Our Nurses:   Lynn, Sue, Julia, Sarah, Lorene

Our practice nurses are highly experienced in all aspects of primary nursing care. Their skills include providing a telephone triage nursing service, wellness clinics and advice on various health topics, blood pressure, blood sugar and weight checks, pregnancy tests and advice, immunisations and injections, dressings and woundcare, cryotherapy, cervical smears, drug screen urine testing, ECGs, flu and travel vaccines.

Nurse clinics are held every day and Wednesday evenings  5 - 7.30pm. By appointment.
